Breathe Better, Live Better: Pulmonary Rehab Insights at LiveLung Fort Myers Meeting
LiveLung, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting lung cancer patients, survivors, and their care partners, invites the Fort Myers lung cancer community to its monthly educational meeting on Tuesday, March 17 at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at Hyatt Place Fort Myers at the Forum, 2600 Champion Ring Rd, Fort Myers, and includes a complimentary lunch.
This month’s meeting will feature Nayda Agosto, RRP, Respiratory Therapist at Lee Memorial Health System, presenting “Taking Back Your Breath: A Guide to Pulmonary Rehab.” Attendees will learn how pulmonary rehabilitation can improve breathing, strength, and overall quality of life for individuals living with chronic lung conditions.
Agosto is a respiratory therapist with 41 years of experience and a pulmonary rehabilitation specialist for over 30 years. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals with COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and other chronic lung conditions improve their breathing, strength, and confidence. “My goal is to share helpful information, answer questions, and support you in finding practical ways to breathe easier, stay active, and live as fully as possible.” says Agosto.
At Lee Memorial Health System, Agosto guides patients through safe exercise, breathing techniques, and lifestyle strategies designed to enhance both physical health and emotional well-being. She believes that small, consistent steps can lead to meaningful improvements and that no one should feel alone in their journey. Agosto is a graduate of Florida State University and a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
