New attractions are being added to the lineup of things Southwest Florida residents can do to keep cool and enjoy some water fun with one now open and one to come.

Great Wolf Lodge (Now open)

Great Wolf Lodge opened in Naples with a vast array of fun for all ages.

The lodge includes a 92,000-square-foot indoor water park – Otter Cave Waterworks, Breakaway Bay, High Paw Holler, Forest Flume, Slap Tail Pond, Crooked Creek, River Canyon Run, Whooping Hollow, Rapid Racer, Cub Paw Pool, Cyclone Cove, Big Foot Pass, North Hot Springs, and the Great Lagoon is located outside.

If that wasn’t enough, the lodge also offers a vast array of attractions – MagiQuest, Oliver’s Mining Co., Ten Paw Alley, Howlers Peak Ropes Course, Northern Lights Arcade, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Howl in One Mini Golf, Howlers Peak Adventure Trail ,and the Virtual Frontier.

There also are many shopping opportunities from a gift shop to a candy company and a prize zone. For when hunger strikes there is a plethora of food options from sit-down meals, to sweat treats and a quick stop at the market.

The lodge also offers standard, themed, and premium suites for families to stay and continue the fun.

Brightwater Lagoon (Coming soon)

Brightwater Lagoon is still has a moving target as to when it will officially open a fourth Florida location in Lee County. The other locations include Southshore Bay Lagoon in Wimauma, Miranda Lagoon in San Antonio, and Epperson Lagoon in Wesley Chapel.

The lagoon itself is six acres and is an amenity for the residents that live in the Brightwater community, a master plan community in North Fort Myers. The lagoon includes sandy beaches, kayaks, paddle boards, inflatable obstacle course in the middle of the lagoon, a water slide, a resort style swim up bar, food trucks, and various shade options.

Brightwater Lagoon will also offer a VIP area – Cabana Cove – to elevate individuals’ experience with such options as renting a cabana, shaded seat areas and a more secluded dedicated swim area and a bar.
