The Florida Artists Group (FLAG) is the state’s premier professional organization dedicated to inspiring, celebrating, and promoting the excellence of Florida’s top visual artists. Audiences will be immersed in a diverse array of 2D and 3D artworks, including digital art, drawing, mixed media, painting and photography. A distinct Floridian influence weaves through the collection, with each piece expressing the wonders of the state through texture, color, shape, energy, curiosity, and mystery. With a legacy rooted in its founding by university professors and leading art professionals in 1949, FLAG continues to thrive as a dynamic leader in the arts community. It supports its members’ ongoing achievements through a prestigious Annual Symposium and Exhibition, alongside a variety of year-round exhibitions and networking events. Committed to inclusivity and artistic excellence, FLAG champions creative work across all disciplines, continually enhancing the visibility and careers of its artists.

About the Theatre Gallery Exhibition & Artist

The Terra Guitarra (Landscape of Guitar) series of original acrylic paintings is designed to inspire healing through art. Science proves that everything is vibration, and through depictions of guitar-shaped trees, mountains, rivers, lakes, clouds, and birds, the artist suggests that all of reality has its own voice. The entire world is, in essence, singing to us. The more we attune ourselves to this symphony, the more clearly we can hear nature’s messages–right outside our doors.

All of the paintings in the gallery are part of The Landscape of Guitar Animated Painting Concert Experience, taking place at the Alliance for the Arts on November 9 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available here.

About the Member Gallery Exhibition & Artist

Waves and Whispers: A Private Blue Symphony is a celebration of the subtle yet powerful connection between water, nature, and the human spirit. This collection of paintings captures the serene rhythm of ocean waves, the delicate beauty of flowers, and the graceful presence of women who embody both strength and vulnerability. Using oil, acrylic and resin, the artist layers blue hues to create a symphony of textures and emotions.

Ying McLane is deeply captivated by the serene yet powerful essence of water and how nature mirrors our inner landscapes. In this body of work, the artist explores the quiet but profound dialogue between nature and the human spirit. Water, with its fluidity and strength, recurs as a central theme, often intertwined with delicate blooms and the feminine form.

The exhibition invites viewers to step into a personal, contemplative space where nature speaks in whispers, offering moments of peace, introspection, and connection.
