The Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold a public hearing Friday, Sept. 21, to consider the following amendments to the 2035 long-range transportation plan:

– Amend the Existing plus Committed project list to add $5,000,000 in Federal Transit Administration (FTA 5309 funding) grant funding for the LeeTran Bus Facility Replacement Project.

– Amend the Existing plus Committed project list to add $1,359,200 in Federal Transit Administration (FTA 5312 funding) grant funding for the Veterans Transportation and Community Living Initiative Bus Arrival Notification System.

– Amend the Existing plus Committed project list to update the current status of projects that are funded in the next five years.
