School district attorney earns board certification
Heather Wallace, Support Services attorney for Lee County Public Schools recently received Board Certification in Education Law.
Wallace and others who passed this year’s exam joined 22 other attorneys from across Florida who previously received this certification.
Board certification recognizes an attorney’s special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice. It is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of an attorney. The certification is valid for five years, during which the attorney must continue to practice law and attend continuing legal education courses.
