A silver Chevrolet Corvette was reported stolen Monday from a Cape home.

At about noon, police responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft in the 1100 block of Northwest 10th Avenue. A man stated that he noticed Sunday that his 1994 Corvette was missing from the front yard, according to a report.

He said the vehicle was unlocked, but the keys were still inside his home.

No one else has keys to the Chevy, which bears the Florida tag UQV5T.

The vehicle is valued at about $8,000, according to the report.
