Lee County Sheriff’s Office releases 2011 Annual Report and 125 Year Commemorative
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office 2011 Annual Report is now available online at www.sheriffleefl.org by clicking on the “About Us” tab and going to ” Public Reports.” The report this year includes a commemorative overview of the agency’s 12 sheriffs to mark the 125th anniversary of Lee County.
Readers can trace the development and challenges of law enforcement from Lee’s first Sheriff, Thomas W. Langford, to current Sheriff Mike Scott. Twelve pages of photos, anecdotes and text cover the Office’s rich history.
Additionally, the report includes a message from Sheriff Scott and a comprehensive overview of agency operations, from staffing and resources, to the V.O.I.C.E. volunteer program. The report also features Corrections, inmate programs and a tribute to the deputies who have given their lives in the line of duty.
