Sun Splash open April 6-9 for Easter Break
While Lee County public schools are closed for Easter Break Friday, April 6 through Monday, April 9, Sun Splash Family Waterpark in Cape Coral will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A special “Eggs-travaganza” promotion will take place at the park on Saturday and Sunday where the first 250 children through the gate each day will receive a plastic egg filled with various prizes and treats.
This weekend’s Eggs-travaganza is one of several special events taking place at Sun Splash this year in recognition of the park’s 20th anniversary season.
Also, for the fourth year in a row, Sun Splash is offering “Early Bird” prices on season passes that are purchased at the beginning of the season, with this year’s offer ending at 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 8. The 2012 “Early Bird” prices range from $54-$64 for Cape Coral residents and $69-$79 for non-residents – a $20 per person discount over the regular season pass prices, which go into effect on April 9.
“We recognize that families have less money to budget toward traditional vacations and recreation in this economy, so we are pleased to be able to offer local residents an extremely affordable way to enjoy Southwest Florida’s largest waterpark all summer long,” said Sandra Greiner, Sun Splash Manager. “We hope everyone will take advantage of the extra $20 per person savings by getting their season passes before the Early Bird pricing ends at the close of business this Sunday.”
Season pass benefits include unlimited water park entrance during regular operating hours; discounted parking; 15 percent discount at the Calypso Cafe, Ice Cream Shop, Gift Shop, and on Super Snack Cards and same day guest tickets; 10 percent discount on Learn to Swim classes and Deluxe Birthday Parties; and exclusive special offers and discounts throughout the season. The full list of season pass benefits is available online at www.SunSplashWaterpark.com
Passes may be purchased Monday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Sun Splash Administration Building at 400 Santa Barbara Blvd. (located to the left of the ticket booths) or over the phone by calling (239) 574-0558. For quicker processing, park management recommends that customers purchase passes Monday through Friday instead of waiting until the weekend.
Sun Splash is currently open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., plus this Friday, April 6, and Monday, April 9, and the park will begin its seven day a week schedule when schools dismiss for summer break on May 25. Details about this year’s operating schedule are posted at www.SunSplashWaterpark.com.
