Update: The family of a child found walking alone in the area of Balboa and Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers has been located.

Earlier report:

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded this morning to a report of a little boy walking alone in the area of Balboa and Palm Beach Boulevard, Fort Myers.

The child was found at approximately 8:56 a.m.

Deputies have been unable to locate a parent or caretaker for the child and do not know his name.

He is wearing an orange shirt and blue checkered shorts and appears to be in good health.

Anyone with information on the identity of this child is asked to call the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 239-477-1000.
