A Cape Coral man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for DUI manslaughter.
Joshua Lee Reynolds was sentenced on Thursday in connection with a September 2009 crash in which one person died.
Reynolds was driving a 2003 Ford truck on Veterans Parkway when he ran a red light at the intersection of Country Club Boulevard and crashed into another vehicle, police said.
A passenger in the vehicle that Reynolds’ truck hit was ejected and died.
Reynolds’ blood alcohol content was .151, almost twice the limit at which a driver is considered intoxicated. Reynolds was arrested for DUI Manslaughter on May 24, 2010 once the results of his toxicology were known.
