A man reported that someone gained entry into his northwest Cape Coral home through an open window and removed several electronic items.

On Thursday, the Cape police responded to a home in the 400 block of Northwest Sixth Street. The man told officers that he left in the morning and returned home later in the evening to find the items were missing.

According to a report, the stolen items are a gold wedding ring, a Kodak camera, a flat screen TV, an Apple laptop and a second laptop.

The items are valued at approximately $5,150 in total.
