Christ Lutheran Church is teaming with Right at Home in Home Care and Brookdale Senior Living to provide a free health fair to Cape Coral and surrounding communities on Saturday, March 31.

“This is the t10th year that Christ Lutheran Church has provided this service to the community and we anticipate a large turnout” said Nancy Roberts, Parish Nurse at Christ Lutheran and manager of the Lee Memorial Health System Parish Nurse Program, in a prepared statement.

“With the help of our sponsors, the Parish Nurse program has been providing wellness screenings to the Southwest Florida community at churches throughout the area. We will be offering free wellness screenings for blood pressure, diabetes, fall prevention, hearing, memory, vision as well as information about Alzheimer’s disease, pharmaceuticals, Medicare, advance directives, aging and disability, visual impairment, wellness support, assisted living, and in-home care.”

“This year we are also making available Life Line Heart Wellness Screenings at a very reasonable cost” she said. Pre-registration for this comprehensive screening is required by calling 239-272-2817. The community wide health fair will take place at 2911 Del Prado Blvd in Cape Coral.

The health fair will be available from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 31st. Healthy snacks and door prizes will be provided.
