It has become necessary for the Sanibel Police Department, as a safety precaution, to temporarily close the Shared Use Path parallel to Rabbit Road from San Cap Road to West Gulf Drive for a prescribed burn of the Botanical Site by the J. N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge.

The burn is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. today, March 15.
