The Holocaust Museum & Education Center of Southwest Florida will host its 10th anniversary celebration entitled Driven to Triumph on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Naples Luxury Imports. The event will serve as a tribute to Southwest Florida’s Holocaust survivors and WWII veterans.

It is with continuous community support that the Holocaust Museum & Education Center of Southwest Florida is able to host such an important event. Whether in the form of monetary support, volunteering, and/or attending the celebration, the encouragement has been unwavering.

“We wouldn’t be able to host an event of this magnitude or be able to reach the audience that we do without the overwhelming support of the community of Southwest Florida,” according to Jay Kaye, The Holocaust Museum & Education Center of Southwest Florida’s Development director. “The museum continues to prove that collaboration brings about hope and spreads our vision of respect.”

Driven to Triumph will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Naples Luxury Imports. A Patrons’ Reception will be held at 5 p.m. and the celebration will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are just $125 per person. The evening will include delicious bite-sized food creations provided by a selection of local chefs; an intimate performance by Grammy and Emmy award-winning composer Charles Fox, best known for “Killing Me Softly with His Song”; a warm welcome offered by Honored Guest Myra Janco Daniels; a silent auction; and much more.

The Holocaust Museum & Education Center of Southwest Florida believes that by engaging the community to see value in everyone, along with the dangers of indifference to bullying, gang violence, and hatred, Southwest Florida residents can win at the serious business of building respect. The Holocaust has the ability to provide ongoing lessons of the consequences of giving in to hatred and indifference, and more importantly offer shining examples of self-sacrifice and heroism.
