Sheriff’s Office, All Star Lanes team up against child abuse
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with All Star Lanes to score a victory against child abuse.
On Saturday, Oct. 8, the bowling alley, located at 2828 North Tamiami Trail in North Fort Myers, will host Family Bowling Night. Participants can take comfort in knowing that every strike, spare and even gutter ball they throw will benefit the Children’s Network of Southwest Florida, a local agency that assists children who have been abused.
Everyone is invited a come out for what promises to be an entertaining night for the entire family. In addition to bowling, there will be a raffle and door prizes.
Registration begins at 6 p.m. Participants can begin bowling any time between 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person, which includes two games and shoe rental. Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Network of Southwest Florida at the Sixth Annual Walk to Prevent Child Abuse to be held Saturday, Oct. 15, at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers.
