The Fort Myers Police Department will have its 4th Annual “Cops and Joggers” 5K this Saturday. Proceeds from this year’s race will benefit the department’s Fallen Officer Memorial Fund and The Brotherhood Ride.

The race will take place at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1. The race begins and ends at Centennial Park along the river in historic downtown Fort Myers and will cross the Edison Bridge.

The entry fee is just $20 for adults and $15 for youth if registered on or before Sept. 29 at www.ftmyerstrackclub.com. Joggers can also register at the race for $30.
