$8,000 worth of cosmetics reported missing from home
A woman reported $8,000 in cosmetics were stolen from a Cape home Thursday.
Cape Coral police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1900 block of Southeast Fifth Court. According to a report, a woman said she stopped by the home to retrieve some belongings and found the rear sliding door open.
She began looking through the home and noticed “a large majority of her inventory for her cosmetic business was missing,” including different facial creams and peels. The cosmetics are labeled Micabella as the brand name.
The woman reported that an HP desktop computer with speakers, $100, a guitar and about $2,000 worth of adult winter clothes were also missing.
The total loss is valued at approximately $10,800, the report states.
