A white Hyundai Sonata was reported stolen Tuesday in the northeast.

Cape Coral police responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft in the 2200 block of Northeast Eighth Place.

A man stated that he parked the vehicle in his driveway for a short time, with the keys inside it and the doors unlocked.

When he returned to the vehicle a few hours later, it was gone.

The car is a 2001 and has the Florida tag L094KH, according to a report.

The Hyundai is estimated to be worth approximately $5,000.
