A $13,000 orange-colored Freightliner truck was reported stolen Monday.

Cape Coral police responded to a report of grand theft in the 2300 block of Surfside Boulevard. According to a police report, a man told officers that he parked his truck in the back of a nearby department store Sunday night.

When the man returned to his truck on Monday, the vehicle was missing.

Police observed no signs of broken glass and the large trailer that had been attached to the truck was still at the scene, according to the report.

The Freightliner truck bears the Florida tag Z7251N.
