Rhythm In Motion Dance Academy is holding a beauty pageant next month for girls as young as 18 months old to 25 years old, along with women of any age who are married.
“It is a true beauty pageant,” Tarrita Brown said, adding that it is about inner and outer beauty.
There are still slots open for those interested in the pageant. Registration is $80 for girls who are 12 years old and younger and $150 for those who are 13 years old or older.
Brown said they have a cut off point of 12 girls for each division.
“We have slots available in all divisions, but the smaller ones are filling up faster,” she said about the younger age groups.

The pageant will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m., with the doors opening at 5:15 p.m., at the studio located at 3333 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral. Admission is $15.
The pageant will feature different involvement from the various age groups that registered.
The girls who are 12 years old and younger will have an opening number and an appearance in their daytime and evening attire. Those who are 13-years old and older will also have an opening number, an appearance in their swimsuit and evening attire, along with an interview session. The women who are legally married will have a daytime and evening attire appearance, along with an interview session.
Brown said although each division has a different prize package, they will represent Rhythm and Motion at the different events they attend throughout the year.
The pageant is the official preliminary for the Miss Florida US International and Miss Teen Florida World.
A free modeling workshop will be held at 6 p.m. on July 30 at Rhythm in Motion.
“Everyone is welcome to attend,” Brown said.
Local vendors, along with dancing and an opera singer will also be at the pageant.
