The Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group is planning to celebrate its new sales center this weekend with two days of special events and open houses all over the city.
Located at the foot of the Cape Coral Bridge, Miloff/Aubuchon’s new sales center represents a “business decision” for the Cape builder, but it’s also a sign of what the company feels is a positive step on the road to recovery, according to Diane Van Arsdale.
“It’s a risky venture to do something like this, but the opportunity to lease the building came up and for us to move forward it was something we couldn’t pass up,” she added.
Van Arsdale said the facility is like a one-stop shop for information about real estate and the city in general, with floor plans, listings, maps and brochures available for visitors.
Miloff/Aubuchon has had an uptick of new construction this year, as well as resales.
“We’re starting to see things look up,” Van Arsdale said. “We’re already ahead of where we were last year.”
Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral President Mike Quaintance agreed, saying the city has seen some of the signs of recovery for the construction and real estate industries.
“I think the new construction side is doing better and that we’ve some signs of accelerated life in the industry,” he said.
Miloff/Aubuchon hopes to continue those improved ways this weekend with its special two-day event, which will feature food, music and special car displays.
Van Arsdale said the two-day event will also feature opportunities to tour a number of open houses around the city.
Maps will be handed out for people to visit the homes on a self-guided tour, giving them a look at the properties and the city.
“We want people to be able to look around at the different homes we offer,” she said.
The open house is Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
Normal hours for the sales center are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
