Man charged with selling drugs to undercover officers
A Cape Coral man is accused of selling $500 worth of prescription drugs to an undercover police officer Tuesday night.
Roy Lee Hudson, 37, of 4302 N.W. 33rd St., was arrested and charged with two counts of opium or derivative traffick 4 grams to under 30 kilograms.
He was denied bond and remained at the Lee County Jail on Wednesday.
At 8:45 p.m., Cape narcotics detectives reportedly made arrangements to buy 40 Oxycontins and 10 Percocets from Hudson for $500 in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant in the 1000 block of Del Prado Boulevard South.
After completing the alleged drug deal, police took Hudson into custody.
Hudson has a court appearance scheduled for Aug. 15.
