11-year-old reportedly finds drugs near bus stop
A bag of cocaine was reportedly found near a child’s bus stop.
On Wednesday, the Cape Coral police responded to the 400 block of Northeast 23rd Place. A woman reported that her 11-year-old had found a small plastic bag containing a white powdery substance on the ground.
The child had found it near a bus stop on Northeast 24th Avenue.
The woman told police that she thought it may be narcotics and contacted police to check it out. Officers tested the powder, which reportedly tested positive for cocaine. The .04 grams of cocaine was seized for destruction.
