An account has been set up for the son of a Cape Coral woman who was found dead in her home just over a week ago.
Tara A. Brissette, 28, and Marcus Michael Jackson, 31, were found dead May 15 at 1413 S.W. 16th Terrace. Witnesses told police that they had arrived that afternoon to pick up concert tickets when they found the two bodies.
Jackson also resided at the residence, according to police officials.
A bank account has been opened at Wachovia Bank for those who want to donate to Brissette’s son, Braxton Killam. Donations will be accepted at any branch for the “Braxton Killam Foundation,” or they can be made payable to the foundation and mailed to 12120 Amedicus Lane, Fort Myers, FL 33907.
A website, www.braxtonkillamfoundation.com, has been created.
Police spokesman Lt. Tony Sizemore has stated that the investigation will take a few weeks and investigators are waiting on the medical examiner.
Neither of the two’s manner nor cause of death has been released. Last week, however, detectives reported they believe the case is a murder/suicide.
According to Brissette’s obituary, she graduated from Cape Coral High School in 2001 and later attended Edison State College. She worked for Rib City, then later Pinchers, located at the Holiday Inn on Fort Myers Beach.
She is survived by her son, mother, two sisters and other relatives.
Brissette was predecreased by her father and her brother.
