Copper stolen from business air conditioning units
A business owner in southeast Cape Coral reported Tuesday morning that the copper had been stripped out of her two air conditioning units.
Police responded to a report of a theft in the 900 block of Southeast 14th Terrace. The woman reported that someone cut the two units’ electrical line and stripped the copper out of them, leaving behind only the units’ casings.
The building owner responded and stated that he would press charges.
The air conditioning units are reportedly worth an estimated $6,000.
Both of the units were processed and photographs were taken.
