The Cape Coral Police Department recently announced its new Community Engagement Program. This multi-part initiative is designed to break down barriers between the department and the community it serves.
The department is kicking off this program with a Community Engagement Forum, where officers are inviting citizens to spend a few hours as part of a working group, providing the CCPD with candid input about issues facing the community and the department.
The input that this forum provides will help the department chart its course into 2012 and beyond.
