Boat, trailer taken from resident’s property
A 24-foot boat and boat trailer have been removed from the side of a storage barn in northwest Cape Coral, according to a police report.
A man told police that he parked the boat and trailer on the south side of a storage barn on his property, located at 3514 Delilah Drive, on Tuesday. The next morning he went outside to tow the boat to a separate residence that he owns, but the boat and trailer were missing.
The boat is a white, 2004 Smoker-Craft Vectra with black stripes. It had a Yamaha 225HP four-stroke outboard motor on it. The trailer is a standard aluminum boat trailer. The boat, motor and trailer are worth $22,200 total.
The boat also has “Direct Heating and Cooling” written on both sides of it.
