Church to host A Unique Audio Visual Event
On Saturday, Feb. 26, at 5 p.m., the Church of the Epiphany, Cape Coral, will hold A Unique Audio Visual Event. At that time in the evening the sun shines through the stained glass windows atop the side walls of the Nave, creating a beautiful effect. The light then reflects off the metal organ pipes on the back wall.
Narrators will read descriptions of the symbolism of each of the 10 panels, and then a hymn related to the theme will be sung. The Heissler tracker pipe organ and the Knabe grand piano will be heard, and the church choir will sing.
The creator of the windows is retired aeronautics engineer Jim Yeakey, a member of the parish. Everyone is invited to the event and to a reception afterwards.
The church is located at 2507 Del Prado Blvd. South, Cape Coral, just south of the Midpoint Bridge.
