Police seize drugs at Fort Myers home
Fort Myers police executing a search warrant on a Pearl Street home Thursday arrested one person after discovering marijuana.
The Fort Myers Police Department’s Special Investigations Group, with the assistance of uniformed officers, executed the warrant at 3774 Pearl Street in response to several citizen complaints about “ongoing drug activity at the residence,”police said in a prepared statement.
Police seized 70 baggies, each containing marijuana (approximately 80 grams), one box of .22 caliber ammunition and numerous other items of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Alfreda Redmon, 35, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
