North Fort Myers woman charged with third DUI in seven weeks
A North Fort Myers woman was charged with her third driving under the influence charge in less than seven weeks after Cape Police arrested her Monday night on suspicion of driving impaired.
Allison Deanna Jaye, 22, of 7621 Morgan Jones Drive, was stopped in the 3500 block of Del Prado Boulevard South and charged with DUI, possession of controlled substance without a prescription, driving while license suspended and refusal to submit to DUI test, according to Cape Coral police.
Cape police also arrested Jaye on Nov. 11 at 9:53 p.m. in the 2400 block of N.E. Pine Island Road after she was observed speeding and crossing two lanes of traffic, officials said. Two weeks later, on Nov. 26, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested her on DUI charges as well as possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
Jaye was booked and transported to the Lee County Jail and currently is being held without bond.
