Mack endorses Kottkamp for Attorney General

By Staff

Former Florida United States Sen. Connie Mack has endorsed Lt. Governor Jeff Kottkamp in his race for Attorney General.
“During my 18 years in elected office, I focused on many key public policy issues aimed at protecting the citizens and the growth of the economy of this state. I know that my friend Jeff Kottkamp will uphold those same principles when elected as Florida’s next Attorney General,” said Mack in a prepared statement.
Before being elected as Florida’s 17th lieutenant governor, Kottkamp served in the Florida Legislature in numerous leadership positions including Chairman of the Judiciary, Governmental Operations, and Judiciary Appropriations Committees; and Vice-Chairman of the Rules & Calendar Council, and the Select Committee to Protect Private Property Rights. He also served as Deputy Majority Whip.
“I have no doubt that Jeff Kottkamp will continue to serve the citizens of this state as Attorney General and chief law enforcement watchdog with a strong conscience and deliberative approach just as he has as a lawmaker and private attorney,” said Mack.
“I am honored and humbled to have the support of a great Floridian such as former U.S. Senator Connie Mack,” said Kottkamp in a prepared statement. “He embodies the title ‘statesman’ and has been a true leader for all Floridians.”
