Starting at approximately 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, until 11 p.m., motorists should be on alert for temporary right turn lane closures and roadwork at the intersection of Santa Barbara Boulevard and Gleason Parkway. Motorists traveling through this intersection will be guided by flagmen to alternate routes. Advance warning signs, electronic message boards and barricades which will be used to assist motorists traveling through the area.
Detour: Northbound Santa Barbara Boulevard motorists wanting to access Gleason Parkway to the west of Santa Barbara Boulevard will travel north on Santa Barbara Boulevard, west on Veterans Parkway, south on Skyline Boulevard and east onto Gleason Parkway. Southbound motorists traveling on Santa Barbara Boulevard will travel west on Veterans Parkway, south on Skyline Boulevard and east onto Gleason Parkway.
While traveling through the work zone, motorists are urged to use caution, obey the posted speed limit of 35 mph, and seek alternate routes whenever possible. Please be advised that unforeseen circumstances such as weather may affect the schedule.
