Governor appoints Scott to taskforce on human trafficking
TALLAHASSEE – Sheriff Mike Scott is among three appointees tapped by Gov. Charlie Crist to the Florida Statewide Task Force on Human Trafficking.
Crist appointed:
· Sheriff Mike Scott, 46, of Fort Myers, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, appointed for a term beginning June 30, 2009, and ending July 1, 2011.
· Gerald Monahan, 60, of Port Orange, Chief of Police of the City of Port Orange, appointed for a term beginning June 30, 2009, and ending July 1, 2011.
· Rep. Maria Lorts Sachs, 60, of Delray Beach, State House of Representatives, appointed for a term beginning June 30, 2009, and ending July 1, 2011.
