Starting 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, motorists should be on alert for a temporary nighttime closure of Del Prado Boulevard at Diplomat Parkway.
Northbound and Southbound motorists traveling on Del Prado Boulevard will be routed through the posted detour. Advance warning signs, electronic message boards and barricades will be used to assist motorists traveling through the area.
Detour: Northbound Del Prado Blvd. motorists wanting to access areas north of Diplomat Parkway will travel west on NE 15th Lane, north on NE 13th Avenue, east on NE 16th Terrace , north on NE 13th Place, east on NE 17th Terrace and north onto Del Prado Blvd. Southbound motorists wanting to access areas south of Diplomat Parkway will travel west on NE 17th Terrace, south on NE 13th Place, west on NE 16th Terrace, south on NE 13th Place, east on NE 15th Lane and south onto Del Prado Blvd.
While traveling through the work zone, motorists are urged to use caution, obey the posted speed limit of 35 mph, and seek alternative routes whenever possible. Please be advised that unforeseen circumstances such as weather may affect the schedule.
