Department of Business and Professional Regulation launches new Web features to enhance online services

By Staff

TALLAHASSEE– In a continuing effort to provide better customer service, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation has enhanced Web site features on MyFloridaLicense.com . The new features make the Web site more user-friendly and provide easy navigation for consumers to find licensing information and requirements through detailed descriptions and helpful check lists. A tour of the new features is currently available on MyFloridaLicense.com
“These changes will make it easier for our customers to take care of business online,” said Secretary Charles W. Drago in a prepared statement. “The new Web site features go a long way in demonstrating DBPR’s continued commitment to improve customer service.”
Web site enhancements include: easier access to specific licensing information and requirements through a user-friendly application center; detailed information about what applicants will need to apply for a license; and “What Services Require a DBPR License?” that provides helpful information and examples of the types of services that must be performed by a DBPR-licensed individual or business.
The Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s mission is to license efficiently and regulate fairly. The Department licenses nearly one million businesses and professionals ranging from real estate agents, veterinarians, and accountants to contractors and cosmetologists.
