Police are continuing to investigate a drive-by shooting that left a Fort Myers man injured Friday night.
Fort Myers police were called to a shooting at Thompsons Grocery, 3449 Canal Street at 6:25 p.m. The victim, George Addison, 37, was standing outside the store. A pickup truck circled the block of the store and when it returned someone inside the truck shot Addison and then fled the scene.
Addison was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital.
Detectives are still working on the case. Police are looking for a red, early 2000 style, Chevy, extended cab pickup truck.
