Grand jury indicts Cape man accused in stabbing death; Facing charge of murder
A teen accused of stabbing his female neighbor in her Cape Coral duplex building was indicted on charges of first-degree murder, grand theft of a motor vehicle and first-degree burglary with assault or battery by a Lee County grand jury Thursday.
Andrew Castor, 19, 1122 Country Club Blvd., Unit B, allegedly killed 19-year-old Bianca Marela Meza Interiano, who lived in the other unit of the building, in her home Aug. 2. He reportedly stabbed Interiano to death, then staged a robbery of her home and car.
Castor was initially charged with second-degree homicide and grand vehicle theft.
He is being held without bond, and will be arraigned on the new charges Oct. 27.
