The Chamber of Commerce of Cape Coral will host the city’s annual Fourth of July celebration, Red, White & Boom, Saturday, July 4, in an area from the foot of the Cape Coral Bridge along Cape Coral Parkway to Del Prado Boulevard. The title sponsor for this year’s event is Saturn of Cape Coral. The annual event will feature live music, food and drink vendors and the what is touted as the largest fireworks display in Southwest Florida. The event is scheduled to be held from 4- 10.m. A new $1 admission fee will be implemented this year to help offset public safety expenses. The paid admission area will include a Family Fun Area, the live musical entertainment, new unobstructed fireworks viewing area, The VIP Garden and a special American Tribute. Tickets will be sold on the day of the event on Cape Coral Parkway from Del Prado west to Leapin Lizards and also at the Event Parking Lot where everyone in the vehicle gets an admission ticket and parking for $10.
