Arts For ACT Celebrity Fine Art Auction preview

The Arts For ACT Celebrity Fine Art Auction will be held this year on Aug. 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Coconut Hyatt, 5001 Coconut Road, Bonita Springs. Tickets are $125 ($150 at the door) or, for a reserved table of 12 is $1,800. The celebrity guest auctioneer has yet to be announced. The event, a major fund raiser for ACT, the Abuse Counseling Center. Each year a well-known star hosts the auction, which features art donated by top artists. A main auction, a silent auction, and a prize raffle are among the featured attractions. Two free previews, open to the public, also are offered: The first is Friday, June 26, from 6- 8 p.m. at the Edison State College, 8099 College Parkway, Fort Myers. Entertainment will be provided by Kurveball, of Cape Coral. The second Arts for ACT Preview Reception will be held Thursday, July 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the International Design Center in Estero at the corner of Corkscrew Road and I-75.
