Barefoot Beach Preserve
Visitors to the park will find a pristine, sugar sand beach, but there is much more if you look closely and stop to listen. An abundance of wildlife frequents the area — bald eagles, many varieties of shorebirds, and gopher tortoises as well as some of the most unique and undisturbed examples of coastal plant communities. It has plenty of parking, restrooms and showers because nature watching and sunning can be very hard work!

The park is open from 8AM to dark and offers a handicapped beach wheelchair for those in need. The entry fee is $3.
